Division of IT offices will be closed Thursday and Friday, November 22 and 23 for the university's Thanksgiving break. Offices will reopen on Monday, November 26, 2018.

Campus Information (301.405.1000)

Campus Information will close at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, November 21 and reopen at 8 a.m. on Monday, November 26.


Service Desk (301.405.1500) and Terrapin Tech (1221 McKeldin)

The Service Desk call center will close at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, November 21 and reopen at 8 a.m. on Monday, November 26. On Friday, November 23 from 9 - 11 a.m. and 2 - 5 p.m., Service Desk staff will respond to tickets received via email and voicemail only.

Terrapin Tech (computer sales and service) will operate with reduced hours on Tuesday, November 20 (8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.) and will close at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, November 21 and reopen according to regular hours on Monday, November 26.


Classroom Support Office (301.405.2500)

The Classroom Support office will close at 10 p.m. on Tuesday, November 20 and reopen at 7:30 a.m. on Monday, November 26.


Software Licensing

Software Licensing will close at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, November 21 and resume normal hours at 10 a.m. on Monday, November 26.


Production Services

CICS - service for MVS users:

  • Thursday -- normal holiday service
  • Friday -- normal holiday service
  • Saturday -- normal Saturday service
  • Sunday -- normal Sunday service

ARES (service for Web Administrative Applications) and TESTUDO (service for Web Student Applications) will offer normal service throughout the holiday weekend.
